Tour from Casa blanca to Marrakech via Rif mountain and Midel atlas 7 days & 6 nights
Day 1: Casa Blanca – Rabat.
Arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V airport. Welcome and assistance at the airport, and sightseeing tour of Casablanca, and then to Rabat. In Casablanca, you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque outside Mecca.Rabat is the capital and second largest city of Morocco with an urban population of approximately 620,000 (2004) and a metropolitan population of over 1.2 million. It is also the capital of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer administrative region overnight in Rabat.
Day 2 : Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez.
After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to Fez via Meknes which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and is known as “the Moroccan Versailles”. Highlights will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina ;after lunch you will continue over the foothills of the Rif Mountains to Volubilis is a partly excavated Roman city in Morocco situated near Meknes between Fes and Meknes. Built in a fertile agricultural area, it was developed from the 3rd century BC onwards as a Phoenician/Carthaginian settlement. a 2000 year old Roman city with remains of palaces, baths, basilicas and stunning mosaics.on the way to meekness bronze and metal work, leatherwork ceramic tiles, jewelry. Antique shops and carpet shops are of first quality. Fez was the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco and has multiple facets to explore.we will be stopping at the holy town of Moulay Idriss, where the founder of Islam is buried.Overnight in fez.
Day 3 : Exploring Fez .
After breakfast in your riad, you will start exploring Fes the “the Sprititual City of Morocco”. You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys; visiting most of the sites with cultural and historical interest incolude bronze and metal work, leatherwork ceramic tiles, jewelry. Antique shops and carpet shops are of first quality. Fez was the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco and has multiple facets to explore ; Bab Bou Jeloud, "The Blue Gate" of Fez.-Panoramic view of the Old Medina.-Fountains including the Nejjarine fountain-Medersas (Koranic schools) founded as early as the 13th century-Batha Palace now a museum of arts and traditions-Chouwara Tanneries-Souks including Souk Attarine, one of the liveliest in the city-The Bou Inania Madrasa minaret -Mellah and the 17th century Ibn Danan synagogue .
Day 4 : Fes – Azrou - Midlet - Ziz Valley – Merzouga.After breakfast in your riad, you’ll start travelling southeast to Merzouga via Midelt and Errachidia. Your first stop will be at Ifran, referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco".Azrou, Midelt and the Ziz gorges towards Sahara. we will take our way accrossing middle atlas mountains in a high of 1200 feet , passing through the beautiful cédre forest ; the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbarian apes. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad. Riad in Merzouga
Day 5 : Merzouga area and the Camel trek
After breakfast in the riad you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Suda;the holy city of Rissani, a site where the ancestors of the Alaouite Dynasty are buried in the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif;Early in the morning your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards you will trek back to the village of Merzouga, enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes - changing with the light as the day progresses. souk and bouam kasbah ;after we back to our hotel and lunch there. After a nape we go on a comel ride to meet one of the most fascinating sight we will ever seen, the superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Tonight we stay in Berber camp and enjoy a wonderful stars view.
Day 6 : Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges (260 km) – Rose Valley - Ouarzazat.
Early in the morning your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards you will trek back to the village of Merzouga, enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes - changing with the light as the day progresses.After breakfast then we start our journey to Ouarzazate ,on the way; we will visit the Berber villages containing, todra gorges..then we drive to ouarzazate trough dades gorge, roses valley skoura..we will arrive to ouarzazate in evening.
Day 7 : Ouarzazat - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Tizi n’Tichka Pass - Marrakech.
In the morning after breakfast; we will go visiting ait benhaddou kasbah ; Built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th century, now the Kasbah is a house of many Glaoui people. continue through the majestic Tizi n'Tichka Pass accrossing the high atlas mountains featured by its multicolors and the highest mountains ( about 2600 feet high ) ; We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
